SONIC YOUTH – A PUPPETEER OR A PUPPET… ?

कामयाबी को हासिल करना कौन नहीं चाहता?
माँ-बाप की उम्मीद पर खडा़ उतरना कौन नहीं चाहता?
बस सपने और रास्ते अपने हो, तो शायद उस दो कौड़ी की रस्सी पर लटकना कोई नहीं चाहता ?

I know, it’s quite wired to hear these lines as it don’t have any specific rhythm but for sure it has deep meaning that you all have understand . Don’t you think as soon as everyone have understood what I want or why only me the Youth of whole nation want to say with them. Then exactly what’s the problem that’s stopping them to take some positive steps toward it …!??? And why are they taking risk on their own child’s life… ..!??? Does really your respect in society matters more than your child’s life… . .!??
And you know what today I am not writing an article with any intention. This is all because I want to express my feelings as a youth in front of all of you whether you are a student or parent .

Beginning of the journey

As soon as a child take birth in today's society they became apart of this competitive world, where from the first day of their birth they are considered to have a pre decided future by their parents or so called relatives. Those relatives who will never ask about what’s going on in their life but will definitely come in front when something wrong will happen to point out them or to blame them.
Rather than caring about that new-born baby calling them with love everyone start to discuss about that

My son will become an engineer or my daughter will become a doctor…..

And that’s the only point where a child lost his or her childhood ends. Rather than of creating memories , we start to make their mind-set for upcoming future and right from the very beginning everything get ruined.

लक्ष्य का लालच दे के बचपन ले गया…

Today we say humans are totally dependent on electronic gadgets & machines but what about that age when we have to play & be free from everything then we were forced to work as a machine for so called upcoming future…....

Puppet’s life……

You all might be thinking that why I have put this sub-heading but if you will go deep down you will understand what I want to make you understand . If still not let me introduce you with the originality of this sub- topic.

As soon as we enter in our teen age in between 12 - 15 years. When we have to explore this world according to us we started moving on the path suggested by the people who literally don’t matter for us. Because they are the people who will never stand in your happiness rather than pointing you out in the situation when you are wrong . And that’s the only point when you have to eliminate those elements and take the decision of your life according to you because no one will going to lead your life rather than of you yourself. But no we don’t do so and we claim ourself the modern generation who’s still leading their life according to the mentality of others. Through this I don’t mean to say that whatever our elders suggest us is always wrong , I simply mean that what they think is right according to them when they were in that situation but if they are comparing today's circumstances with their time then that’s totally wrong because everything is fair enough accordingly. Now this is the age when we have to face number of challenges in our life not for us to experience our life with different challenges but rather than of that we have to prove ourselves to others with those challenges which our life’s circumstances put in front of us.

Example –


Society’s pressure – They are the creator of our problems and the first and foremost pressure that we face is only by the society they don’t have any stress about their child but they are much very interested to know what’s going on in others child’s life. Sometime a question arises in my mind is it there life ..!? If yes why…??? If no then why are they taking so much of interest and having so much of expectations with us… !??

Family pressure – You know what family is something that as being a youth I consider that it is both for us our weakness and our strength. They are always with us whether its our tough time or in our happiness and that what makes them our strength because whatever will happen in our life everything and everyone can change but our family will always be there as our support system. It some times make me feel awkward when I call my family or definitely a youth call their family as their weakness you know why because they know how they are attached with their family in all the way possible and when they call their family their weakness they mean by it that they are connected with their family emotionally so much. And definitely for a for youth their family becomes weakness when some unwanted pressure is created by them to whom we consider our everything.

Unemployment – The biggest fear that today’s generation have in their mind every now and then .And the generator of this fear is the same our society , our family and why not to mention the biggest enemy in this field is definitely we are for ourself you all might be thinking is she crazy…!?? One side she is giving all the blame to the society , to the pressure that we get from our family and on other side she’s blaming ourself as well. So my question with you is that why not definitely we are the biggest enemy of ourselves because this society is nothing for us but we are considering it our everything we are proving ourselves for those people who literally don't matter for us and as some great people have already mentioned everything happens what we always think or force our mind to think so in the age when we have to experience think explore this whole world learn every now and then new things we are behaving like a puppet who's working or taking action according to others . So definitely we will be something in future that other have planned for us not what we have planned for us .

Competition – This is something what that creates reason for unemployment. The harsh reality of today’s modern generation and their competition is that they are fighting as a whole for only some number of seats in every field of employment . And one more thing that we can say is that it feels as if we are having only few future options to develop as if it's became our mind-set that there is nothing more that we can create our future in . If we can't become an engineer, a doctor or part of an administrative sector so our life is totally spoiled but the reality is that it is not the true fact but as now we are having this mind-set this is what we are calling a competition for us . But rather than of this mind-set if we have different career options for us . Then we will have a good competition among us to develop and then we will have a good competition for valid number of seats for which today we make excuses for that the seats are very less in comparison of the number of people participated . So definitely that problem will resolve but for that we have to take decision of our life by us self without being a part of this crowd and by neglecting the fact that what others are saying.

There many other problem to mention for which this article will not be enough but this what I feel and experience as an youth of my country, is the major problem for the every youth…….


And you know what if we will not change our mentality and still work on Or stick to the fact what others are suggesting or what other think about us then a day will come when surely will be a human puppet controlled by others and definitely we will not have a future for which we have aimed about we will definitely become a machine that we were supposed to be from very starting of our life….
Otherwise definitely a day will come in our life and….

You know what I mean with this sub-topic ..!? Surely yes because it’s the most irritating , frustrating and depressed phase of our life. When we are left with no options to move on with. Now we have some choices on which we have to take our steps forward and most of the time it's something that will going to harm us directly or indirectly.

The first choice that comes in front of us is to get indulge in wrong activities. When I say wrong activities do you know what does it now means …!??

When you are in the age of 12 to the age of maturity when you are trying to prove others your existence according to them not you. And now you are not the one who have stand on there expectations . That’s the only point when you started doing those work that you have not ever imagined in your dreams even and that can include different things..

Intake of drugs – To relax ourselves from anxiety that we take from and most of the cases teens are found to be involved in this.

Smoking and drinking alcohol – This again to relax themselves from anxiety , depression & frustration for only sometime till they are in unconscious of mind.

Murder and Robbery – You might be thinking why I have mentioned these 2 points it's because being in depression and frustration one can do anything he or she can murder in terms of taking revenge or anything is possible . And if I’m talking about robbery then in case of unemployment these steps can be opted by a distracted youth or even more dangerous than this .

Suicide attempts – When a depressed frustrated irritated and uncontrolled youth left with no option They go with this nonsense step according to WHO every year 7,00,000 deaths take place due to suicide attempts in which it is estimated that the male section attempt more number of suicide attempts in comparison of women’s 10.5% suicide attempts are attempted by male section of the society where as 4.5% woman attempt for suicide . That can be by anything by hanging themselves or by putting their body on fire Or by taking pesticides and etc….

This all happened because ….

We are having identity crisis that who I am..!??
Low self confidence And low self esteem That I am worthless ….
A sense of hopelessness that where I am going !??
Confusion and ambiguity of moral values that what is right and wrong !?? Negative impact of electronic media.
Competitiveness in educational field.
See now at the end of my article I just want to mention few points that we proudly say we are the modern generation of 21st century we can do anything but when we go for the final results we see this modern generation is indulged in the wrong activities or very quick to take their decision in negative way that means to end their life or they easily give up.

वक्त से लड़कर जो नसीब बदल दे
इंसान वही है जो अपनी तकदीर बदल दे,
कल क्या होगा कभी मत सोचो ,
क्या पता कल वक्त खुद अपनी तस्वीर बदल ले

As in suggestion and as a youth I believe that we should fight for everything in every field till the end . We need to understand this point that we have got this life to prove ourself to only us not anyone else. We should do everything according to us according to our conditions for that I would say that all the parents need to understand that they should not pressurize their child for anything they should promote them in the field they are interested. Yes , they need your guidance , they need you as their support system for life.

It’s time to work little harder
Have patience
And never give up .
